I’m waiting until I can afford an aftermarket cooler before making any changes. For now, stock speeds seem acceptable. If you’re not going to upgrade soon, stick with stock—just don’t overclock at all. You can revisit the aftermarket option later if needed.

It's a setting found on the boards, but not automatically turned on like it was on the Z370. Asus didn't implement it, and they voiced their concerns in 2018. The change happened on the Z370 with later BIOS updates, though I can't remember exactly when. The X570 only has this feature in PBO mode.

It's understandable, but there were additional factors at play. Some settings were activated simply by clicking "yes," while others depended on defaults. This made Z390 much clearer, though it's no longer a concern when running stock on X570 or Z390.
