Still unsure about picking between the R5 2600 and the i5 10400F.
Hey everyone. I'm setting up a new PC and comparing the Ryzen 5 2600 at $120 versus the i5 10400F for $150. The extra $30 on the i5 seems like it might not be worth it unless you need more power. The motherboard costs are similar, so it depends on your needs. Would you prefer the i3 12100F at $130?
I have an i5 2600 and I can honestly say it's a really weak processor. Forget about it. If you're considering AMD options, I'd recommend at least a Ryzen 5 3600 since it performs better without being significantly more expensive than the i5-10400F. If I had to pick, I'd choose an Intel CPU because it feels more solid in my opinion. Please keep other opinions in mind too, as I'm not very sure about tech matters!
It depends on your needs—do you plan to use it for gaming or rendering? What types of games are you playing? (e.g., Battle Royale, FPS, etc.)
I typically engage in web browsing and playing PUBG Mobile on the Gameloop emulator.
Why not the genuine PUBG? Whatever your reason, any CPU works well for PUBG Mobile. The i3 performs just as fast as the i5, but it has two fewer cores. The processor specs are quite alike, so unless you're planning to play something intense that demands a strong graphics card, you can opt for the most affordable choice. For more detailed guidance, it would help to know what other specifications will likely apply.
Opt for a version that runs significantly quicker, especially for games prioritizing single-threaded performance.
You're considering purchasing a Ryzen 5 2600 with 8GB RAM, a Corsair B450M DS3H, and a power supply. You also have a GT 710 with 2GB GDDR5. This setup should handle playing PUBG Mobile on the emulator, but you may want to verify the specifications and ensure compatibility.
I won’t be playing PC games at all. I’m using Android titles on an emulator. What are your thoughts? Will it be worth the extra cost?
