This doesn't imply the keys are genuine. A pawn shop is a legitimate and authorized business, but they can sometimes be tricked into purchasing stolen goods. If you end up buying such items and the shop later discovers the theft, they might still go after your property by contacting authorities.

Be mindful of these "key sellers." Revoking multiple keys may lead to limitations, locks, and even bans on your Steam account. No matter where you purchase the key, a revocation will trigger a payment fraud alert against your profile.
