All my window files seem damaged on the SSD M.2 500GB drive, and when I try to boot Windows it shows a recovery error. After attempting a safe mode from the blue screen, I can't get into safe mode and it freezes while trying to install new media to fix the issue. I'm unsure what to do next.

Bring the SSD to a friend and ask him to install it on his PC. Tell him it might be damaged. Once installed, you should be able to start his operating system, format the drive from there, reinstall it on your computer using a bootable USB drive, and if needed, replace the OS. If that doesn’t work, consider other options—data loss could be serious.

I don’t have a friend to help, so maybe you can visit Best Buy or another store to get it repaired.

Idc if best buy handles such repairs (I haven’t visited any of their stores before), but there should be many options available to assist you, possibly even restoring your data. This process will likely cost more than fixing it yourself. Just search for services in your area online.

They thought they were IT specialists but didn’t understand basic troubleshooting steps.

However, I want to note: If you can't boot to your USB drive, it could indicate another issue causing the crashes because the SSD and its operating system aren't required for this task. It might be something else wrong with your laptop or you haven't configured the boot order in BIOS properly.

Consider using a USB drive and another computer to create a Windows installer with Rufus. Select the 'Boot from USB' setting in your BIOS and attempt to force install Windows onto your SSD. Make sure to format the volume before proceeding.

Believes there might be a chance of repair issues since everything remains covered under warranty, allowing for potential replacements. It's a custom-built machine, which I didn't mention before.

I'm still getting the hang of this, so I might try forcing Windows onto my corrupted SSD or test a fresh one. By laptop.

This machine is just a year and a few months old, which means it's got a lot of potential issues.
