Technically, you can play well and still use a budget keyboard, but it’s unlikely for someone who doesn’t really enjoy gaming to splurge on expensive gear like a mechanical RGB keyboard, gamepad, mouse, and a big monitor. You definitely need those things if you want to be a top player.
