Starting applications on a designated virtual desktop in Windows 10
Programs can't be launched directly into specific virtual desktops like OSX does on macOS. However, you might use third-party tools or built-in features to manage virtual desktops in Windows 10.
VirtualBox offers seamless mode and VMware's Unity mode, both functioning within virtual machines instead of executing standalone applications.
For example, on OSX you could move a program to another area (their virtual desktops) and assign it there, so it opens automatically when needed. I’d like to achieve the same in Windows 10 using its virtual desktops feature.
