It means the upcoming title is likely to be strong! EA plans more Battlefront titles (or at least more Star Wars games), and I’m excited about a return to SWBF2. Totalbiscuits’ review captured it well, though I’d say casual players might enjoy SWBF. For everyone else, hoping for Star Wars Battlefront 3 sounds promising! Thoughts?

I enjoyed it a lot. I wish there were more levels or different worlds. The weapons are awesome and the power-ups are cool—it's a fun game. $60 is quite steep for this title, even though I'm having a great time. I think once all the DLC is released it'll feel like a full game, which would be nice. Sadly, it's still just a Star Wars fan, and I'm hoping for a sale or a top pick next year.

I had some enjoyment, but there aren’t enough elements to maintain my interest for a while. The gunplay is really unpleasant. What about the long-term value? I’m not too confident about it. Regarding the DLC, it’s concerning when you depend on it to improve a game.

It was pretty disappointing. I ran it on my friend’s computer and quickly lost interest. Everything was unlocked, which is good, but the game felt too straightforward. While the jump pack was entertaining, the flying ships and driving parts didn’t really engage me. Overall, it just didn’t hold up well for long.

The name selected by EA was not ideal, mirroring patterns seen before. Past projects like Tomb Raider (2013) demonstrate this trend of straightforward titles.

You seem to be talking about Battlefield: Star Wars Edition. The reason I keep using that name is because it shares more similarities with Battlefield than with Battlefront. It wasn't developed by the same team, and apart from its title and universe, it doesn’t closely resemble real battlefronts. It’s not a battlefront game at all—it’s just a battlefield wrapped in a Star Wars theme. While it isn’t terrible, neither should DLC or EA have the right to label it as Battlefront. They clearly don’t realize that, which is why it isn’t called "Battlefront 3." If CoD had released something like CoD 13, it would have been a side-scrolling RPG, not a recognizable CoD title. That’s why many people still say it isn’t Battlefront.
