Will the GeForce GTX 960 EXOC 2048MB handle recording? It’s available for around $262 locally. Let me know!

I should first test OBS with Quicksync. If that fails, I’ll switch to a 250GB SSD and if that doesn’t work, I’ll go with a GTX 960. If I buy the 250GB SSD, should I use it as the main drive or for recording? And should I regularly move the recordings to a 1TB drive?

If it truly means I need to save some money, I’ll go ahead and buy a decent system. Even if I have to record at 720p low settings, I’ll see how it goes right now.

Thanks, OBS still causes my PC to drop significant FPS. Recording at 30fps is much smoother, though the drop isn’t huge. My next question: what should I set my bitrate to in OBS for optimal quality? Haveie

OBS appears to function much better now. However, QuickSync still causes errors. I have two monitors connected via AMD GVR, but recording fails despite the system indicating it’s possible. The hotkey to start recording doesn’t work. I’m also curious about which components to upgrade first if I change my setup soon, and what brands, models, or manufacturers are recommended. Thanks, Hasie.
