Hello Everyone, I really need your assistance because you seem to be my only hope. I'm searching for a list of computer parts that can record and play Battlefield 4 in 1080p Ultra quality at a steady 60 FPS. I've checked everything and can't find the right answer. I only play Battlefield 4 and want to capture my gameplay, but my FPS drops significantly—around 25-30 FPS—when recording in high settings. I'm not aiming for a power-hungry system, just something capable of handling this. What upgrades or replacements should I consider to achieve 60+ FPS during recording? Here are my current specs:

- Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H (rev. 1.0)
- CPU: Intel Core i5 3330 3.0GHz (1155 MHz)
- RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 at 1600 MHz
- GPU: PowerColor R9 270X (not overclocked)
- PSU: Baobab 550W
- HDD 1: 1TB Western Digital 7200RPM (for OS and games)
- HDD 2: 1TB Western Digital 7200RPM (for recordings)

Thanks in advance for your help! Hasie

Have you explored AMD GVR? It should handle 1080p at 60fps smoothly.

I've tested it, yes, but I still experience low FPS during recording.

Damn, not sure then. For an upgrade I'd get a 3770k (since you already have a motherboard) and overclock that instead of going Haswell, and a R9 290.

Use AMD's game recorder with minimal impact on performance; if issues arise, try OBS for Intel CPUs that support quicksync. Alternatively, connect an Nvidia card to leverage shadowplay, which operates with low resource usage while maintaining frame rate.

Obtain Nvidia 970 (OHSNAP) or 980 using Shadowstream to capture at 60fps

Shadowplay makes recording performances easy and keeps files compact. You might think about selling your 270x card for an Nvidia, but it's unlikely.

Absolutely! Quick Sync with OBS functions well on my 3570k.

I plan to try it out once I’m back home. I’ve been a long-time fan, but recently got a R9 270X as a gift and started using it. I’m worried about getting the same performance drops I experienced before. If I decide to buy a Nvidia card, what options should I consider? I just want something that isn’t too powerful for recording BF4 gameplay.

I recommend opting for a 250gb SSD. It works well with the F4 model, and if that doesn’t meet your needs, consider upgrading your GPU to a GTX970 or R9 290X.
