I looked up Defrag and selected the first option, but it displayed some command-line tools and then closed right away. Could you clarify what you mean by "this TIA"?

Avoid reshaping your SSD. They have a limited number of read/write cycles and excessive defragmentation drains them faster. SSDs function quite differently from conventional spinning hard drives. The act of defragmenting primarily aims to minimize the natural delay the read/write head experiences while moving across the disk.

Learn from the Wikipedia page on Trim in computing. It explains how TRIM works with SSDs, making defragmentation unnecessary. However, it notes that HDDs still benefit from TRIM.

It could be a built-in application provided by your computer's maker. Not entirely clear, though.
