My SSD is just 512GB, and I didn’t pick the components for this PC—so I’m considering a different drive. I think I’ll go with the first choice.

It's best to choose the first option if possible, and then refine the third one—offering a 2in1 choice is ideal. You'll need Windows; just launch the VM without switching.

I used to have virtual machines before, but my PC isn’t powerful enough to allocate much resources to them. That’s why I believe option 1 is the best choice.

This setup won't function on Linux. The best solution is to dual boot both systems—use Linux for general use and Windows for Adobe products. (No further comments) It should work now. Just turn on Steam Play in the Steam compatibility settings. It also supports proprietary drivers, with version 550 being the latest. I opted for the proprietary one. For those moving from Windows, Linux Mint is a convenient choice. I’m currently using it and have run Steam games like Palworld, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Elden Ring successfully.

Sounds like you're planning to set up a dual boot setup.

I discovered another drive, but I'm not sure what to do next (it had Windows installed, so I need to erase it).
