I expected a motherboard designed for a 7800X3D to handle a 4080, but it’s possible bios bugs can cause unexpected behavior. The usual issue often comes from improper seating or dirty connectors. Windows PCIe power management features might also affect things occasionally.

I referred to it because it allegedly occurs only when EXPO is active, which might be fully supported in RAM but the stability of the support could be questionable since it's a recent addition and came out after AM5. At least I believe it was released briefly after DDR5.

I discovered it shifts each time I adjust any BIOS parameter. Not limited to EXPO only.
