I adjusted the memory to the EXPO profile and changed the BIOS settings to a higher voltage, hoping it wouldn’t boot. I gradually raised the voltage until everything started working. However, the system launched directly into Windows, running at EXPO speed. The motherboard’s HWinfo reports SOC at 1.08v, BIOS also shows that, while CPU and AMD Ryzen tools display 1.2v. How can I determine the real SOC value?
It will run at 1.2v, based on my observations 7000 series boards struggle with expo at 1.05v. There'll be a small adjustment needed to boost it.
Consider adjusting the negative offset for SOC voltage in your AMD Overclocking settings within the BIOS to see if it improves stability or performance.
I wouldn't use an offset voltage since it can lead to problems. It should simply allow setting a fixed voltage in that menu. Also, just to verify, are you using the most recent BIOS version?
