The brain cannot be safeguarded by any program if you're foolish.

Certainly, but you can't observe through digital signals, which means harmful files might be flooding our system via the network... who can say for sure when data breaks into countless small chunks—one could easily get infected without warning.

This means that before someone shares a comment like "whatever," they didn't mention needing antivirus protection.

Even on Android, Bitdefender and Kaspersky remain reliable options.

I don't normally rely on a phone app, but these devices operate in very isolated environments, making it improbable for malware to affect them. While it's not impossible, especially if you avoid rooting or installing questionable files online, a more open system like Windows or macOS presents different risks. To address your query, I personally use Avast, Malware Bytes, and the Windows Firewall Control addon, which enhances the built-in firewall with popup warnings for incoming connections and lets you manage traffic settings.

Mainly due to my careful browsing habits and the fact I've stayed virus-free for more than three years.

I rely solely on Windows Defender. It works well when you understand how to use it. Many of its security tools—like link scanning, secure password storage, and spam filtering—offer free options.
