I was quite surprised. It had been functioning perfectly the previous day, used it throughout the day without issues. Suddenly today, when I tried to power it on, the RGB lit up briefly before shutting off. You could even detect a faint smoke. After that, the lights turned off completely, while the fan still spun partially and the power button stayed illuminated. This incident happened once before, and it resolved itself after removing the GPU for testing in an older system. Now it’s occurring again after about five months. After restarting it to record a video, the PC continued running with only half the fans spinning but no display—just power reaching the peripherals. Although it seemed stable, it began clicking and producing unusual sounds. I attempted to capture the video at over 20 Mbps, but I’m not sharing it elsewhere. I took out the GPU, recharged the CMOS battery, and waited ten minutes. This time when I turned it on again, sparks and visible smoke emerged from the CPU cooler area. I’m uncertain if it’s coming directly from the CPU or possibly from nearby motherboard components. I’d consider returning it for repair (RMA), though this CPU has already been RMA’d before and is only a couple of years old. I might also try RMAing the motherboard, but I have no clear guidance right now.

No, I didn't reuse the PSU since it was last serviced five months ago.

It’s better to list every part and details of the system. Sparks and smoke usually mean a problem with the power supply unit.

Same power supply unit. It's an EVGA 850-watt bronze model.

Certainly! Here’s a revised version:

I’m confident all items were included.

We didn’t capture every detail at first. It’s better to address questions directly so people know you responded.

The review from 2016 isn't promising. It mentions purchasing the product in stock, but questions about COOCAT extension cables—do you know if they're trustworthy?—and suggests replacing them soon. Also notes that other connected parts should be tested to ensure everything still functions.
