Thanks for the question. Since "automatic detect settings" was already off, you might not need to adjust it. Your DNS servers at 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 are fine, and switching to 1.1.1.1 isn't necessary unless you prefer that specific provider.

I attempted what you recommended, but the issue persisted. I removed Google Chrome and looked for any files containing "chrome" in their name, deleting anything that seemed connected to it.
