It might still make sense though, depending on the situation. The 250 gig is fine. You can keep the 2TB hard drive if you need more space. A solid upgrade CPU should include a platform refresh, so save a bit more and consider options like the CPU and motherboard shown below. Note that the cooler isn’t included in the photo—get it, plus some 16GB DDR4 RAM (about 40 pounds) and a cooler for the chip (another 35).
