Signal loss on Wi-Fi network
Signal loss on Wi-Fi network
If your router doesn't handle 5GHz, it's likely outdated and may need an upgrade.
I'm pretty sure it works, though I'm not sure about my internet connection.
I didn't realize that. How can I verify if it meets the 5GHz requirement? Also, can I connect two Wi-Fi devices—one at 5GHz and another at 2.4GHz—using the same router?
Review the WiFi configuration in the router's software. Depending on the model, two different networks may be available. Your sister uses a Google Wi-Fi mesh system, making it hard to distinguish individual networks. On your device, you have separate networks like Donut2.4 and Donut5GHz, which helps identify the active connection.
The router is connected via an ups/backup battery connection.
UPS isn't the problem. My router is powered through it, and everything functions properly.
