Should I adjust the page file size beyond the standard setting?
I'm experiencing another problem where my PC briefly displays a black screen for around two seconds.
It seems like a potential memory-related issue might be occurring during that time.
There's no need, to have pagefile on multiple drives.
Click on custom size,
set initial to 1000MB,
max size 16000MB.
And reboot.
Currently you have 21700MB allocated to pagefile.
This is excessive and insane.
Extremely big pagefile negatively impacts memory performance.
You want pagefile as little as possible, but as much as necessary.
Is this unusual when I tried to adjust the settings, because now it shows the page file size as 9343 mb? How did it alter? To modify it, do I simply click to set it and then input the numbers? A question about whether the pagefile should be as small as possible, but it currently has a minimum of 16mb, while you recommended raising the minimum to 1000mb?
There are still many unanswered questions about these issues. The default settings seem excessive, and there was a change from one value to another without clear reasoning. I can look into VRAM usage details. A minimum of 1000MB is preferable over 16MB. Any thoughts on the black screens?
