Should I?
Should I?
Are you referring to Windows 10? I wasn't sure, but I didn't have any issues with Windows 7 at launch. You can even run Windows 7 drivers and programs. It might take a bit of time for full optimization, but many people are using Windows 10 now and it seems fine. I use Start8 on my PCs.
But you already have Windows 7 set up. Upgrading to Windows 8.1 can be done through the official Windows update process or via a media installation. It’s legal to use it on your desktop as long as you’re not using it for schoolwork. Edited January 6, 2015 by xnoobftw
Windows 8 initially faced many issues, but Windows 8.1 offered enhancements making it more stable.
GPUs generally face few issues, though driver problems are common.
I had both, personally experienced none, then I tried Vista without any problems haha
Refers to issues with the driver, such as frequent blue screen errors or GPU-related game malfunctions.
You cannot rely on Windows 7 drivers and software continuously; they work most of the time, though occasionally they fail. For instance, when upgrading a friend's PC from Windows 7 to 8, I encountered issues because only Win7 drivers were available, and even after trying the WIFI driver in compatibility mode, it didn’t install properly.
