I'm looking for anyone who has tried this before. I want to understand what others experienced. There are plenty of guides on YouTube, but nobody has actually shown how it works in practice. I’m unsure if it’s worth the effort since I already have enough knowledge about the hardware to meet my needs, especially if it’s managed well. However, finding good software options is limited at best. I’m considering Android because it’s built for such setups and has a solid track record.

I used it for roughly ten minutes. It doesn’t perform as well as Raspberry Pi OS. It’s simple to attempt, just download and install on an SD card.

Could it handle YouTube playback and what would be the quality?

That's correct, it didn't come with Google Play or any Google apps by default, so you need to install it manually.

I’m planning to check out the Play Store and some of its offerings. I’ll likely start by testing it out since no one else appears to have shared any updates... I’d like to be the first to share my experience.

It seems better to skip the setup details and focus on the main issue. The problem likely lies in the basic menu performance, which could affect video playback.
