I'm looking for anyone who has tried this before. I want to understand what others experienced. There are plenty of guides on YouTube, but nobody has actually shown how it works in practice. I’m unsure if it’s worth the effort since I already have enough knowledge about the hardware to meet my needs, especially if it’s managed well. However, finding good software options is limited at best. I’m considering Android because it’s built for such setups and has a solid track record.
I used it for roughly ten minutes. It doesn’t perform as well as Raspberry Pi OS. It’s simple to attempt, just download and install on an SD card.
That's correct, it didn't come with Google Play or any Google apps by default, so you need to install it manually.
