Turning on your PSU doesn’t always mean you’ll see any lights on your motherboard or GPU. Some systems stay silent until the power is fully applied, while others show indicators when they’re active. Your 2011 PC behaved similarly, and your current setup seems to confirm that.

The water cooler shares the same motherboard back plate as the previous model, which saved me from having to remove it. I think there might be a short circuit somewhere, but I can't pinpoint the exact location. I could attempt to disassemble the entire system and test it again. It might also help to use a basic power supply tester to check if the two PSUs are damaged.

The issue isn’t the motherboard, but when the power cuts out at home, the keyboard lights up instead. I believe it’s a short circuit somewhere.

The setup seems a bit odd, possibly because of the long tubes. The board appears fine, but it's unclear if the pump and fans are correctly linked to their headers. Short circuits might be hiding on the back of the case or from board screws, so removing the board from the case would help diagnose the problem.

I tried moving the pump head to the opposite side but the connections were very tight. I thought using heat and force might shift them into place. The aio fans are connected to a small hub that came with the unit, then to the CPU fan header where the original cooler was. I connected the pump directly into the pump header on the motherboard. During troubleshooting, I removed them to check if it would help, but it didn’t make a difference.

Disconnect all the new components—AIO fans, pump wires, and power button. Check if any adjustments are needed; a single device flipped could cause a dead short.

I disconnected all devices from the new AIO and connected it to the motherboard, but nothing happened. I plan to use a PSU tester this weekend.

I used a budget PSU tester and everything seems okay. The only concern is the motherboard might be dead. It’s an older RMAd board that’s been working well for about 3-4 years. Thanks for all the advice! If you have any other ideas, I’ll try before purchasing a new board.
