Service for improving .net runtime performance
Service for improving .net runtime performance
The name suggests activity on my taskbar while the computer is idle. CPU usage is low at 11%, but GPU usage is at full capacity at 100%. I tried running some antivirus programs to check for malware, but nothing came up. It’s also using all my GPU power, which is unusual. Could be a miner or something else? Please assist me!
Net runtime optimization is a Windows service that precompiles .NET assembly files to speed up .NET program execution. It operates only when the computer is idle. Its speed depends on how many .NET programs you have installed, their size, and your PC's performance, which may take several minutes to finish.
Have you checked if the system is running smoothly? Try restarting your PC to refresh the service. If that didn’t help, see if any installed programs are interfering. In the Service panel (Start > type: Services > pick: Services), locate the problematic service, click it twice, choose Disable from the dropdown, then Stop, Apply. That should resolve the issue.
Keep the computer running in standby mode and prevent it from entering sleep.
