Series about managing a theme park with roller coasters.
My childhood is full of making rollercoasters in all the games. I miss the good ol' days. I must have spent 1000's of hours in those games. Does anyone still play these games? Are you excited for the new one or do you think it will be bad? A lot of modding support for rc 3. Launching people off not finished rollercoasters was the best. The do not enter signs were amazing.
I tried all three and still enjoy RC3 occasionally. I’m holding off on RC4 for now. I’m curious to find out if it’s similar or entirely new.
I've saved them all on CD but they don't perform well, so I also downloaded them to GOG. I'm excited about RollerCoaster Tycoon World—it's going to be available at http://www.rollercoastertycoon.com/games...oon-world/.
Wow, me too, haha. I used to think Arid Heights was amazing because it felt like having unlimited money as a kid. Now it just feels pretty ordinary, you know?
You seem to be pondering some improvements for the park. It would be nice to see more people using it regularly. Perhaps adding a check-in system at the entrance could help with things like purchasing maps or umbrellas automatically. For groups, like friends or families, it might be helpful to offer options such as shared rides or activities that encourage togetherness. Also, having kid-friendly areas where children can play without needing an entrance fee could make the park more welcoming. Other ideas I have are games with rewards like stuffed animals, which might attract more visitors.
Well i have played abit of the new sim city so maybe some kind of co-op feature or just being able to visit your friends park would be awesome, so i can showoff my cool rides Don't really think i have a favorite rollercoaster to build. Here is the last pic i got from last time i played RCT 1 (I have also posted the picture in the pc gaming screenshot thread)
I almost missed these games... Maybe I should grab the old CD-ROM from the first one. It seems it might still be out there somewhere... I didn’t realize a new version was being made. Cool!
I’m not sure if you recall that in Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 you could form groups that would enter the park. You can find downloadable groups on RC websites created by others. I wasn’t aware of it until I looked it up online. I’d like to see more guests with stuffed animals and other unique items. I also want to see a variety of faces in the park to make visitors feel more special. I heard co-op will be added in the upcoming game, allowing friends to visit each other’s parks. I hope that’s accurate—I’m really excited too.
