I really enjoy all the roller coaster tycoon titles (except the fourth one). It’s frustrating seeing them profit from the IP without much effort. I’d love to see how they approach a fresh version that stays closer to the original style. Even if it doesn’t turn out perfectly, there’s a Kickstarter I supported called Parkitect Tycoon that feels more streamlined and stylized compared to the current games.
I enjoyed all the RCT games back when I was younger and still recall getting RCT3 upon its release. It's hard to believe how much time has passed. There were numerous mods that enhanced the scenery, allowing you to construct massive theme parks. I invested many hours playing these titles. My brother showed me the teaser for the latest game last week and I'm really looking forward to it, just hoping they maintain the quality.
They’ve delivered solid results so far based on the screenshots. The wait isn’t too much of an issue, though I’m hoping they’ll build on the initial concepts and bring a fully developed game that truly lives up to the franchise’s standards. RC4 was designed to capitalize on nostalgia, so they aimed to ride the freemium trend.
I’m hoping they share additional details about the upcoming game. I’ve heard that RC 4 was terrible, so I’m looking forward to hearing if the new version will be better.
