Sorry to hear that. You mentioned you attempted a refund but were unsuccessful, the seller appears to have reduced their offer, and you noted discrepancies with the product description and website details.

It seems unclear why eBay would reject something obvious—it’s definitely not new. Have you attempted to raise the issue further? What method of payment were used? Didn’t you pay using ‘off ebay’ for the product?

Paid using credit card, no need to leave the site for transactions. Attempted to switch payment method through Dell, but they indicated the monitor I received should be returned since they had already dispatched a replacement.

Argue against the listing on eBay, pointing out it wasn’t what was advertised. It was marked new, yet it wasn’t, and you have direct evidence from Dell in the warranty denial. Check eBay’s return policy here: https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/ebay-...-described Explain why you shouldn’t qualify under the guarantee unless you meet the required timeframe.

I'm interested in understanding why eBay rejected the case. I plan to review the details and consider appealing. Regarding fixing the monitor, it's unclear whether the problem lies with the controller board or the panel—my knowledge isn't sufficient to offer a solid solution beyond replacing parts randomly. You might try opening it to check for visible damage, but without clear guidance, it could cause more harm than help. This might be best handled by a professional.

Reach out to eBay and provide your payment details. You were unfortunately targeted in a scam.

They claim we’re missing part of the picture, but eBay says they rejected our claim without giving more details.
