It wasn't terrible, but the cartoon style and the telekinetic gimmick didn't quite work well.

I played PCars, PCars 2, Asseto Corsa and found myself a bit challenged and monotonous because of its strict simulation style. The Crew and NFS payback felt similar, though I removed The Crew after just five minutes of play—it was frustrating. Beamng works mainly for crash tests. Forza Horizon 3 is what I bought this Christmas and enjoyed for three months. Sorry if I didn’t mention this earlier.

The only thoughts I have are about the euro truck simulator 2. You might also want to give test drive unlimited 2 a shot, though it feels more like a game.

Car DriftX Racing is available on Steam. Adjusting assist settings lets you use "sim" driving mode.

You're focusing on driving reliable Toyota models like Camry and Corolla, specifically those with under 100 horsepower—cars you see regularly. You're excluding Volvos and Volkswagens, especially the GTI lineup.

The top choice seems to be City Car Driving. You can find it at http://citycardriving.com and also on the Steam Workshop. Mods are available online.
