Comparing the two coolers and checking if they might cause issues with your 2x8 GB 3200 ripjaws v RAM is necessary.

Brudarion is weighing dark rock pro 3 versus cryorig r 1 ultimate for his setup. He has two 8GB 3200 ripjaws v RAM and is concerned about potential issues with the RAM. He notes that the cryorig r 1 ultimate seems to handle the situation better and offers slightly improved cooling.

Will the R1 encounter issues with your ripjaws in the build? I'm also searching for a case that maintains good airflow, preferring models from nzxt but unsure which one is best since each has its drawbacks.

Brudarion :
Will the R1 cause issues with my Ripjaws in my build? I'm also searching for a case that maintains good airflow, preferring models from nzxt but unsure which one is best since each has its drawbacks. I checked the details – the cooler requires a 35mm clearance, and the RipJaws V is 42mm tall. The R1 universal seems to offer more space. I'm just reading reviews and checking images, hoping someone with experience could share their thoughts. With my Phanteks, installing tall RAM would only require adjusting the front and rear fans slightly, but I don't want that kind of hassle.

For cases, I tend to like the Cooler Master HAF XB EVO – everyone who sees it wants it.

Hehe, those 'box' builds always bring a smile but not the kind that bothers me. I’m currently checking out the nzxt series for the Phanteks 530, 630, 830, and H440. They all look solid, but I’m not sure if the airflow is up to the mark or if the HDD bays are really good. I’ve used a big steel box from a bulldozer before, and now I’m worried about the plastic parts. Noise levels are important to me too, so maybe swapping fans inside would help. Any advice?
