@mariushm Thanks for the recommendation, I don't plan to overclock even remotely as this is a fixed budget and It cannot budge for a while as I am not building this for myself its for my younger brother who hasn't any income due to being in school he's got enough saved (after I gave him the 1070 and spare/old parts I was just missing a motherboard) which he has around 70 pounds saved. @dizmo This is why there won't be a better one for him, I can only give him 10 towards it as my income is minimal at best as I just finished 1st year of college and going into second year. You don’t need to buy multiple kits; just get one now and the second later—preferably from the same brand and with matching specs like frequency, voltage, and timing. With an 8 GB stick, you can run Windows smoothly, enjoy gaming, and handle many tasks without major issues. Expect a slight slowdown in some games, maybe 5-10%, but once you add a second stick it feels like you always have two sticks running together. You won’t need to reinstall Windows or worry about changes. By skipping buying two at once, you could save around £20-30 now. The cooler included with the 2600 model works well and even supports mild overclocking. He has a solid 2133 16gb DDR4 setup, which means it should handle things fine without any overclocking needed. I’ll also give him another 10GB to upgrade to the Aorus B450 AORUS M model. It’s always available on Amazon UK, and I’ve seen it a few times. Since he plans to use it for at least four years, his income should cover his needs so he can eventually upgrade himself. He’s targeting 80fps at 1080p, which should work well for gaming in the coming years with this build.
