HT is enabled in the codec settings. Recording to my HDD affects performance, which is why I require improved compression. I already have it, but it still fluctuates at 30fps even though my game runs around 45FPS. Thanks, I’ll give it another try later.

Check the performance of your hard drive by using available tools. The simplest method is the Windows Task Manager, though I’m using a Windows 7 device. Also, you can find out if your games load from an HDD or SSD.

Thanks, the codec appears just as solid as the lagarith, though the frame rate stays well under 30 fps. Appreciate it.

A notification should appear to install it. You'll locate it on your desktop:-) (click the desktop right-click)

It seems the file won’t launch because it requests a specific program to open it.

Do you have Windows 7? Then scroll down and you'll find a download link for an .exe file. Save it. The first link that showed average results didn't work for me, but it's safe.

You're facing issues with your Win8 installation. The EXE files didn't work, and you're unsure how to handle the WinRAR file. Let me know if you need help troubleshooting or finding a solution!

Windows 8 eliminated certain gadgets, but the UT video codec still worked well for me.
