If your setup is quite old, saving money isn't worth it. Upgrading it now would be more cost-effective than replacing it completely with a much newer version.

Only a few boards offer rear USB3.0 connections, while none provide USB 3.0 headers on the board.

He isn’t interested in using it anymore. A former colleague tried to bring some fresh perspective, wanting to keep it because it hasn’t been used much. He recently bought a new one years ago but kept it hidden since he had to relocate. He’s not planning to use it often—just for browsing the web—and is curious if it could work for retro gaming.
