Hey there. I figured I’d go with Mac OS X Catalina on my PC, but after installation I discovered the RTX 2060 isn’t compatible. So I wiped out the installation partition—my whole hard drive. To remove the EFI section, I used Linux with GParted. Now I default boot into Windows 10, but I can’t get into BIOS and it keeps showing a black screen. I reset the CMOS twice but didn’t succeed. Could you help? I need to adjust some BIOS settings right away. Thanks!

Disconnect all connections and try accessing the BIOS through another method.

The BIOS interface appears on the screen even after disconnecting your SSD and HDD. This usually indicates a hardware or software issue that needs attention.

Consider removing all partitions from the hard drive and reformatting it, just in case you overlooked something earlier.

I also attempted this, but it didn’t work. Bios isn’t showing up even though my SSD is connected, which I’m using as the main boot drive for Windows 10.

It's likely you unintentionally altered the Windows boot partition. It's best to back up your files and reinstall everything. For now, you can reach the BIOS by disconnecting the drives.

That means removing Windows from your SSD drive and then setting it up anew.

I attempted that, wiped the entire SSD together with all partitions and did the same on the HDD, reinstalled Windows, but the black screen persisted. Have any suggestions?
