He clearly described the solution and the issue at hand. The challenge arises when the operating system or related drive software misconfigures the BIOS. By taking out the HDD/SSD, you can return to your BIOS settings. Another option is to switch to MX Linux or Fedora on the same drive, allowing normal BIOS access and a fully working system. You might also try reinstalling a legitimate Windows version to fix the problem.

I already have Windows 10 set up, which was automatically installed on my laptop. Can I reinstall Windows 10 without using the USB drive, format the SSD, and install it again?
