Additionally, I removed the battery to clear the CMOS. This didn’t fix the issue, and now my fans are very loud because it reset the curves I had configured, making it impossible to access the BIOS to make changes.
MSI originally included a go2bios capability. It's unclear if it's active by default now, but pressing and holding the power button during boot for about five seconds lets you access UEFI directly. Try it out to check. Previously, there was a separate download for a go2bios utility, though I no longer see it. It might be part of Dragon Center, which is risky to install.
Hello, thanks for your message. It seems the issue didn't resolve as expected. The system paused briefly but restarted again, possibly due to the fractal meshify c process. Let me know if you need further assistance.
Thanks for the feedback. I've already attempted this too, and it produced the same outcome as holding the shift during a restart. The feature to input UEFI firmware settings isn't available. Your Windows is also fully updated.
I've been searching for a justification for this choice not being available. I can't locate any other alternative besides the USB to PS/2 adapter. Once connected, it should boot up and let you access your UEFI settings. There, you'll need to explore the options and look for something like "Legacy USB support," then turn it on if necessary (it might be turned off or set to auto).
I successfully accessed the BIOS by resetting the CMOS again, leaving the battery off for a while longer. I made sure USB legacy support was turned on. Restarted Windows and everything worked fine. Then I restarted once more and re-entered the BIOS to save my overclock settings. After that, I’m now locked out of the BIOS again… I’m confused about why this is happening. I used to be able to enter the BIOS easily before. My overclocks were stable for more than a month until I cleared the CMOS today. The only reason this occurred was because I decided to experiment further with memory overclocking, only to find this bothersome issue.
