Current setup includes an i7-13700K with 32GB DDR5 RAM (avoiding XMP due to system instability), paired with an MSI 4070 and Corsair 750e PSU. I tested Timespy Direct X12 and achieved a score about three thousand less than the average. Some online sources suggest XMP might slightly affect performance, but a three-kilometer gap seems significant, especially since I previously managed higher scores.

Time Spy's CPU rating changes significantly with memory settings, often giving scores 3-4k higher than average when you adjust it. However, your CPU score remains well below the typical 13700K benchmark (~19000 points), suggesting a possible system issue. The difference between JEDEC and XMP ratings should be around 1000-2000 points. Your graphics score is also lower than expected (around 18k), likely due to CPU limitations rather than memory problems. First, check the CPU clock speed using HWInfo while running the test. The 3DMark report shows an average 2.5GHz, which could mean thermal throttling or disabled Turbo Boost.

The issue stems from XMP being activated, and it's likely not due to XMP being off. Background processes may also affect benchmark outcomes. Could you share your RAM's maximum speed rating?

Hello, yes I'm not entirely sure if it was turned on at that time; your RAM speeds are shown in the photo.

Thanks for the update. I'm checking how the CPU performs under stress. It's currently reaching a peak of 3.05GHz, which seems unusual for this model. Also, it doesn't exceed 70°C even though it typically stays between 70-80°C.

Use HWInfo to obtain the clock speeds instead of Task Manager. The latter only provides an average reading, which can be misleading with a mixed CPU like the 13700KF, and it's known for inaccurate frequency data.

Sure, I'll take care of it right away. I'm not entirely confident these images will be useful.

RAM speed ratings indicate the expected performance. You can also activate XMP to adjust the frequency slightly lower in the settings menu.
