Two Ryzen processors are being discussed. One is from the first generation, the other two from the second generation. You're trying to identify which one is on the left. I'll update this with the correct answer later.
I felt exactly the same, yet it added a fresh twist. It surprised me a lot.
They look almost the same in terms of labeling and support locations, which makes sense given both are Ryzen models. The silicon could appear quite different on the other side. One might show a completely different handling of the silica layer, possibly due to photo editing.
If you look closer, the one on the left does have the dot upper left corner. There is but ONE difference between these two processors. The one on the right has a small piece of PCB missing where the razor grazed the green right off. Didn't know it till I cleaned off the glue.
The flash appears closer to the CPU on the right side of the phone. It gives a subtle shadow effect, almost like a 5 o'clock mark. The printed image has a gold-like finish, which reflects light differently depending on the camera angle... I’m not very familiar with photography, but someone might explain it more clearly.
