When virtualization is active in BIOS and the Hypervisor or Sandbox is enabled (even if not running), BCLK drops to about 98MHz, lowering single-core performance. This affects not just the core clock but also Infinity Fabric and DRAM. Use CPU-Z to verify your BCLK value—whether it's 100MHz or decreasing to 98MHz. It doesn't matter if BIOS is set to 100; avoid manually locking it at 48. Instead, keep it on Auto. If the Core Ratio is fixed at 42, don't force it to 48, as this can cause instability because not all cores may support that setting.

The CPU now operates about 20°C hotter during benchmarks, matching the multi-core test temperatures—this is normal. Thanks for your support. @Mark Kaine suggested exploring an alternative instead of assuming PBO. @filpo pointed out possible BIOS configurations that fixed the frequency to 4200 MHz.

The increased temperature is typical. The single core is consuming more energy and applying greater voltage to get the desired performance boost.

Thanks to all the support. @Mark Kaine guided me toward a different approach instead of assuming PBO. @filpo pointed out possible BIOS adjustments that fixed the frequency to 4200 MHz. Edit: Also appreciating @PDifolco. Initially, I wasn’t sure if hitting the advertised 4.8 GHz was right due to conflicting information online. My mistake was replying without editing, but honestly, I’m relieved I resolved this after spending about five hours researching and testing.
