The cores operate at 4200 MHz as reported by hwinfo (actual clock). It’s unclear whether the CPU should increase its speed more under default settings. According to AMD, the maximum boost frequency is around 4.8 GHz, but I’m not sure if that can be reached without PBO.
These clocks behave oddly; usually they show 3.7GHz in CBR23 with a base clock, then boost to around 4.8 on single-core tests. I have PBO and OC+100, undervolted and adjusted PLs, but the single-core score stays fairly consistent.

I'm using AGESA V2 PI 1.2.0.3 Patch A. I'll keep that in mind. I'm a bit unsure since my system has been stable so far. My latest release is from 2021/06/19, while the newest patch came out on 2023/03/14.
It could be the issue stemming from the previous BIOS version before the update. After switching to the latest stable release, everything worked fine. Just avoid downloading beta updates—they often have problems. Remember, the right version is usually the one just before the change.

Thanks for the clarification. Based on what you observed in the BIOS, the Target CPU Speed is fixed at 4200 MHz and the Core Ratio is set permanently. Adjusting it to 48.00 would likely not resolve the issue. The real fix might involve changing the CPU speed setting directly.
