Ryzen 7 ram timings bug
Ryzen 7 ram timings bug
Xanarinera :
The ram remains unchanged as before in cpu-z.

This post comes from Aida's mem section. I’m really puzzled because the memory changes won’t show updates while the CPU settings do? Should I adjust my voltage settings to match what’s shown in the video? Thanks a lot.
It’s quite odd, doesn’t the BIOS indicate the ram speed you’ve set? There’s a small menu on the right side that displays details like CPU and RAM speeds when hovered over.
The person in the video simply adjusted all those sub-voltages to standard, so their RAM is already running at those voltages. I’m not sure why they’re increasing it to 1.4v. You might want to try it, but I think the software might be amplifying the numbers. Make sure the BIOS is up to date and check if the system info viewer shows your memory speeds correctly.
Is your BIOS current? Also, what does Gigabyte say about your RAM speed in SIV or System Information Viewer?

The ram is still the same as before in cpu-z

this one's from aida's mem section. I'm straight up confused as to why the mem changes wont display but the cpu settings do?
Should i try change my voltage settings to match the guys in the vid ?
Thanks for the help btw
It is very strange, does the bios show you if the ram is running at the speeds you've set, theres like a little flyout menu on the right of the screen, if you hover over it, it will show you cpu speed and ram speed etc.
The guy in the video just hard entered all of those sub voltages to normal, all your sub voltages are already running at those voltages, not quite sure why he's pushing 1.4v through his ram, you could give it a try, but I think its the software playing up, check first and see if the bios is reporting your memory speeds correctly in that fly out.
is your bios upto date ? also, what does the Gigabyte software say your ram speed is at, SIV, (system information viewer)
Here's the bio's and siv info.
Also the fly out menu is going nuts haha (second image) the bclk speed jumps all over the place. its only doing that in the bios and it dosnt happen after boot.

Yeah, those speeds and voltages in the bios seem off. I believe your bios is sending incorrect data to the software, and your cpu isn't actually running at 6ghz. Are you sure the bios is up to date?

Those speeds and voltages in the bios seem off, I believe your bios is misreporting data to the software, your cpu isn't at 6ghz, lol. Is the bios up to date?
I'm using f4 (the latest stable bios), but I'm testing with the second bios, f5g (beta bios), to check the results.

Seanie280672 says the speeds and voltages in the bios seem incorrect. They think the bios might be sending wrong data to the software, and their cpu isn't at 6ghz. They wonder if the bios is up-to-date. They're using the latest stable version (f4) but are testing with a newer one (f5g). LOL, they're confused about how gigabyte classifies the bios—even SIV shows it as F3, which seems odd. They're unsure which software to trust and think the bios should be accurate, but their cpu is reportedly running at 6.7ghz, which is a big surprise.

I'm using the latest stable version (f4) but I'm trying the second one (f5g, beta) to test.
LOL, I don't know how gigabyte can label that bios as stable. Even SIV shows it's on Bios F3, which is really confusing. I'm not sure which software to trust. I'd expect the bios to be accurate, but your CPU is apparently clocking 6.7ghz, which is crazy.
I should probably send it to an overclockers group, haha.
I finally found a RAM setting that works with this new bios. It's maxing out at 2666mhz with 4 DIMMs.
