The selected card serves as a reference design, resulting in poor and noisy cooling performance. For optimal results, consider installing a full-cover waterblock if you opt for it. Alternatively, choose models like Sapphire Nitro, PowerColor Red Devil, Gigabyte 3-fan model, or MSI Gaming X. Water cooling isn't essential for Zen 2 CPUs, as their heat output is much lower than 200W; any effective air cooler should suffice. The elevated temperatures in Zen 2 stem from the compact 7nm chiplet design, which struggles to dissipate heat efficiently. For GPUs intended for production use, verify whether your software benefits more from OpenCL, CUDA, or RTX tensor cores—some manufacturers have already updated support.
