It's really weak in this area, the used market isn't trustworthy, and most people who bought Ryzen 2s keep them for at least five years.

It depends on the cost and what you intend to combine it with. In short, both share similar IPCs, but the 2700x will outperform the 3600 due to its extra 2 hyper-threaded cores—especially useful for editing tasks. The 3600 offers a better IMC if your workload involves memory-heavy operations beyond just editing. Overall, for just editing it’s easier with the 2700x.

I focus on editing and enjoy playing games such as Red Dead Redemption, GTA 5, Doom, and Apex Legends. I also play with a 5700XT because its price is surprisingly cheaper than even the 1660 Ti at the moment—impressive, isn't it?
