You might have turned off SMT in the BIOS, but you claim there isn’t any. Double-check all areas just in case. It’s also a good idea to reset the BIOS back to its default settings. I’m not sure about this specific motherboard, but on Asus boards it’s typically listed under Extreme Tweaker (look for SMT Mode at the bottom). Share the thread promptly—don’t let it fall behind.
