I’m thinking about purchasing a Gigabyte Aorus RX570 4GB. I want to check if any Intel 3rd or 4th generation chips will work well for games like Assassin’s Creed, from Assassin’s Creed up to Odyssey and Call of Duty. These games need good performance, especially for open-world and action titles. Should I go ahead with the purchase?

Which Intel processors are you considering? A 4th generation i7 and a 3rd generation i3 represent distinct performance levels. Additionally, could you clarify the budget you're targeting and your location in the world?

I’d suggest a 3rd generation i7 or a 4th generation i5 (or even better) wouldn’t be too bad for a 4 gigabyte processor.

Is it an i5 or i7? Not I3, just that.

I was searching for an i5 3rd generation because it's simpler to locate than the 4th generation version.

The CPU will have trouble with AC Odyssey. Even the i7 4770 struggles to reach 60fps in that title. For Call of Duty, Vanguard and Warzone are nearly impossible on an i5 from that era. If you can manage 30-40fps, an older i5 should work and let you hit 60fps in older games. Anything from 2018 onward will likely be challenging.

It sounds like you're wondering if achieving around 60 frames per second on 1080p video in low resolution on your setup is realistic. With an i5 3570 and 8GB RAM, it should be possible, especially if you're using a less demanding game or settings.

Unfortunately, the performance isn't optimal. The video shows the GPU consistently at 100%, but overall frame rates hover around 35-45 FPS. Some sections might hit 60 FPS, though most of the game runs slower.

Looking into a system with an Optiplex 3020 and an Intel i5 4590 for a tight budget
