You don't believe Rust receives data from Steam. Also, what details this supposed helper is omitting?

Based on what I've observed, (and knowing from personal experience that similar issues aren't restricted by bans) no one receives information through Steam. There are many accounts sharing experiences where developers simply advise users to contact the creators directly about their concerns.

It is clear that any proof of innocence must be shared with the Rust developers. If it pertains to the real reason for the ban, then please inform them so they can raise it with the appeals authority. If such details are available, that's the case.

Of course, the main challenge often lies in convincing developers to pay attention. I've encountered numerous situations where individuals face difficulties, (not always due to bans), because the developer remains firm despite the consumer being correct. It's a persistent problem.

Have you ever tried communicating with Uplay support? They seem like the worst group of people I've ever met—completely unreliable and lacking any sense of responsibility. They won't help you solve problems. Just like a drop in the ocean, they don’t matter much. Don’t waste your time helping an OP; they’re part of companies that ignore customer issues and act without care.

Developers in general or the Rust developers?
Yes, once. They simply guided me through the simplest troubleshooting steps I could think of to stop The Division from stuttering. It turned out I resolved it by adjusting my FPS settings both inside the game and in MSI Afterburner. This change caused random stutters at unpredictable times. The positive side is that now I understand what happened, and I suppose at least UPlay acknowledged and reacted.

I believe they’ve already discovered this and likely realized something was wrong, which might explain why the ban persists. They have no incentive to pursue further appeals when they possess such knowledge. They don’t invest time in that process. At least, this is just my thought.

Usually avoid playing rust; you're not sure exactly what it is. Yet, there are capable developers, but many others are simply poor in general.

No organization ever puts in effort to fix a problem... it's up to the individual facing the issue to act, present all supporting evidence, and make them take it seriously. All they can do is remain passive, ignore their concerns, and keep pushing until they're compelled to pay attention.

My current situation with Uplay... I bought a game that wasn't on my list and couldn't download it. I complained and was told to wait. They took my money. I simply replied that I should wait, mentioning they were escalating the matter, but knowing from experience it usually takes weeks for real action with them. So I gave them until 5pm today to resolve it. They failed. I filed a PayPal claim... which is not the first time I've had to use that route with them. If it weren't for the game being so cheap—just £85 instead of £60 or more—I wouldn't have even thought about buying it. But since it was 85% off, I got it for just a few pounds instead of what they were demanding.
