PUBG has completed its latest update. I haven’t played much lately and had to face an AI opponent. Still, my CPU stayed around 15-25%, though my 5900X and 2060 Super were heavily loaded, pushing me to 98%+. This means my GPU is likely the real bottleneck even with low draw distance and textures. I maintained 140-170fps throughout the match. Comparing to my i5 8600—which has similar CPU limits to a hypothetical 4c/8t Zen 3 chip—the numbers suggest the game is functioning as expected. It’s possible your CPU is restricting performance. Unfortunately, PUBG has become quite CPU-intensive lately. Hey, thanks for the attempt. I was considering upgrading to an i7 9700F and thought about getting into the 9th generation since my mainboard (MSI Z370-A PRO) only supports Intel 8th and 9th gen chips. What do you think? I have a RX 580 GPU and 16 GB of RAM.
