They must have relied on a free trick. It made sense since they didn’t want to spend money and there were plenty of alternatives available. He didn’t put any money into it, so he felt safe.

I purchased this vehicle but am still covering the costs. My friend asked me to lend it during the night. Of course, I didn’t recall he’s a terrible person and he damaged the car while intoxicated. I told him and the authorities, “Well, everyone else was drinking too; I had to drink as well.”

You might have been able to purchase the game for your friend on their personal account for under $20.

It would be helpful to reach out to Steam support to discuss the situation and see if they can move the VAC ban to your account.

That’s why I openly let folks know I don’t play online games, just avoid them, or else my account will be taken.

Your tales are hard to believe because playing them together in a shared family account isn’t possible.

It's tough to play CSGO when someone else is using your account. My family shares an account with my brother, and whenever I launch a game, he quickly stops his activity to save, often before the game ends. This issue was mentioned in the Steam family share FAQ.

It seems you believe you're limited to community or casual servers on Family Share. It looks like someone might have taken advantage of the situation, saying things like "Yo stupid friends!"
