Not tried Rift, but i have played Tera. I quite like it, but i'd say buy Guild Wars 2 & stick with that.

I understand but GW2 isn't completely free, though it's available at no cost. I'd definitely consider playing it too!

I haven't come across it before, but I checked it up and it seems quite good!

Not experienced with Rift, yet TERA stands out among my favorites. Its combat mechanics really impress me compared to games like GW2. PSO2 is a strong contender in combat, though its larger scale and shallower complexity somewhat limit it.

I've been testing the beta and I'm excited—most of my guild loves it, it's super fun and has great PvP. It'll be available soon!

The game features a variety of sound effects, and while it shares some elements with GW2, it doesn't rely on traditional set classes.

They don't really match up honestly. Their gameplay is totally different. Still, if we focus on the MMO aspect, RIFT stands out. I don't like Rift because you can start PvE with just one button. Tera has its own vibe, it feels like a Tekken/SSF battle but as an MMO. It's really fun!

You assemble your class by selecting three subclasses, mixing and rearranging them whenever you like. It feels impressive compared to GW2, especially with around 30 abilities and skills at your disposal.

The play pve in one button statement stands out because it’s one of the rare moments where you can achieve a significant change without needing multiple steps or complex sequences. In my view, this is valuable since it highlights how certain mechanics simplify gameplay and make progression more accessible. I appreciate your perspective on why this particular moment matters—understanding its impact helps players grasp the design intent behind such features.
