Wouldn't a 2x4 GB option be preferable to the 1x8? Assuming memory is a factor, MOBO offers four slots.

Now every board includes four slots, but if he uses a 2x4 configuration for dual channels, then expanding to 16 gb later would require four 4gb drives in two separate dual channels. It's better to get an 8gb drive now and in the future consider a 2x8gb setup in dual channels.

You're absolutely correct, Gingerbread. To address the query, Corwin 65 is a solid choice. I previously had a less desirable 1x4GB Kingston model at a reasonable price, and I'm planning to look for a better option in the second-hand market, such as a 1xGB Ripjaws. Eventually, I'll try to pair it up so everything functions properly in dual-channel mode, and Kingston will become outdated due to its slower performance compared to the 2.

Thank you for your comments and suggestions. I truly value the time you took to read this and provide your feedback.
I wanted to share an update since all the parts are now ordered. Someone might find this helpful, so here it is.
I was quite surprised when both apanpapan3 and Gingerbread mentioned that Hyper 212 Evo wouldn't fit into SPEC-03. I've seen many builds (photos included) on pcpartpicker using these components, so I didn't verify the details closely. Although SPEC-03 suggests it's 2mm too narrow, I ended up choosing a different case and kept Hyper 212 Evo along with an Asus Z97 Pro Gamer.
I wanted to thank you, Gingerbread, for pointing me toward Fractal Design cases that guided my decision. Therefore, I'll consider your answer as the correct solution.
