The idtech5 engine uses distinctive textures, which is good in theory but consumes a lot of storage. The game already exceeds 40GB, and adding high-resolution textures would make it even larger.

I understand feeling let down by each new release. I’ve switched back to older titles I enjoyed and now find fresh games that feel satisfying. It’s important not to over-exploit the franchise, or it’ll just lead to more disappointment. A YouTube recap series or a DLC with arena-style combat could be exciting additions.

It's quite large, but the ultra texture technology is really impressive. I really appreciate how everything appears, with the ground looking great. I just wish internet speeds were faster and GPUs could manage higher resolution textures better. The lighting effects more than make up for any issues with low-resolution textures. There are memory leaks in the game, so be careful and it can crash when exiting. But Bethesda games don't have game bugs.

You can indeed enjoy the original Wolfenstein within the game (type of). It's quite an excellent experience.

It's best enjoyed with a headset for an immersive experience. The sound quality is excellent, making it feel like you're truly part of the game with the player.

I would have been wise to purchase it during the summer discount.

I wore Sennheiser 558 all the time. They’re my go-to choice. The sound quality is exceptional, especially for the music I listen to. It seems they either capture the audio perfectly or have done a great job compressing files, which accounts for the high storage needs. Do you know where the sound assets are stored so I can keep the tracks?
